ABOUT
Karla D Manzanares
​
Karla Manzanares is a third year public relations major at California State University of Long Beach. She was first introduced to journalism when she was selected to join her Wilson High School's newspaper- The LoudSpeaker. She worked her way up to eventually become the Editor-In-Chief during her senior year.
​
She then decided to stay local and is currently attending CSULB. It took one semester for her to realize her passion for Public Relations. She is also currently in the process of acquiring a minor in Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies.
In her free time she can often be found reading a book, trying out new restaurants or perusing a local farmers market. Her post grad plans include pursuing a masters, working in the beauty/fashion PR world and traveling the world!

Current CSULB Student who is working as a part-time bookkeeper. As part of an ongoing service learning project she has been working with Feline Good Social Club to create press releases, write a fact sheet, and help create fundraising content for social media. She's been apart of the President's honor list for the last two semesters.
